Littlest Puppy

Isaac is going to join his big brother this year dressing up as a puppy for Halloween. Isaac, like Ben, just adores stuffed animals, especially doggies. Dog was one of Isaac's first words.

Isaac loves the phone and loves saying hello. He also loves to put a "silky" over his head.

Let the madness begin

We are on a year-round school schedule and the kids are out of school until October 20th. What will we do every day to keep everyone entertained while managing to keep up with meals and housework? This is my challenge for the next 3 weeks. I have taken all 4 kids to the grocery store occasionally in moments of desperation. They all enjoy trips to Costco. We are planning a day trip to lagoon and an overnight trip to Park City. Wish us luck keeping eveyone entertained:)

More from the garden

We are novice gardeners but have really enjoyed watering the plants and searching for good things to pick. The melons were very tasty.

The Harvest

September in Utah is the most glorious month. One of my favorite parts is the peaches. They are one of this world's most divine indulgences. I keep buying them at the market and we are eating most of them up before I get a chance to bottle them. I've only gotten 20 quarts done so far.

We also grew 4 little pumpkins in the garden.

OK, I know I am way overdue in getting this thing up and running. It probably won't be much to look at until I figure out how all the features work but here it is. We are the Coverstons. Ben and I have been married for 10 years. The kids recently enjoyed looking at our wedding pictures and innocently commented about how different mommy and daddy looked then.

Ben, Cianna, Mira, and Isaac are the joys of our life.
